The foundational manuscript develops CSI as a computational organization theory specifying when computational evidence warrants interpretation as a latent condition of a bounded collective. It formalizes collective boundaries, construct level, alternative composition models, temporal and contextual alignment, uncertainty, validation, simpler comparison models, and governed use.
Current status: Unpublished and currently in external journal peer review following editorial suitability assessment. Peer review is ongoing, the manuscript has not been accepted, and CSI has not yet been empirically validated.
